Secunia Security Advisory - A vulnerability has been reported in VERITAS Cluster Server for UNIX, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to gain escalated privileges. The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error in the SUID root ha command when handling the VCSI18N_LANG environmental variable. This can be exploited by malicious users to gain root privileges on an affected system. DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in VERITAS Cluster Server for UNIX,
which can be exploited by malicious, local users to gain escalated
privileges.

The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error in the SUID root
