DESCRIPTION:
Grindordie has discovered a vulnerability in PHP-Fusion, which can be
exploited by malicious people to manipulate the view of the web site
interface.
Input passed to the BBcode "color" tag is not properly verified
before being used in a post. This can be exploited to inject certain
CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) code, which will be rendered in a user's
browser session in context of an affected site when the malicious post
is viewed (e.g. place links in arbitrary positions of the web site
outside the post area via the "position" CSS element).
NOTE: The "expression()" function supported by Microsoft Internet
Explorer is filtered out by PHP-Fusion.
The vulnerability has been confirmed in version 6.00.106. Other
versions may also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly verified.
