received the following information.

In CERT Coordination Center Vendor-Initiated Bulletin VB-95:09 Hewlett-Packard
reports a security vulnerability in ftp in releases 9.X and 10.X of HP-UX.

This vulnerability allows users to exploit ftp (sorry, no more information
available).

The bulletin provides patches for this problem.

CERT-NL recommends to install the appropriate patches.
