DESCRIPTION:
Two vulnerabilities have been reported in Xen, which can be exploited
by malicious, local users in a guest virtual machine to cause a DoS
(Denial of Service).

1) An input sanitization error within the netback implementation when
handling the ring producer/consumer pointers can be exploited to
trigger an infinite loop and render the system unusable.

2) A memory leak error within the netback implementation can be
exploited to render the system unusable.

The vulnerabilities are reported in versions 3.x including Linux
2.6.18.

SOLUTION:
Fixed in the Mercurial repository.
