DESCRIPTION:
A security issue has been reported in Symantec LiveUpdate
Administrator, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to
perform certain actions with escalated privileges.
The security issue is caused due to insecure default permissions
("Everyone" group granted "Full Control") being set on certain files,
which can be exploited to remove, manipulate, and replace application
files.
The security issue is reported in versions prior to 2.3.1.
SOLUTION:
Update to version 2.3.1.
