DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been discovered in the WP Marketplace plugin for
WordPress, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a
vulnerable system.
Input passed via the "src" parameter in
wp-content/plugins/wp-marketplace/libs/timthumb.php is not properly
verified before being used to cache files. This can be exploited to
upload and execute arbitrary PHP files.
This may be related to vulnerability #1 in:
SA45416
The vulnerability is confirmed in version 1.1.0. Other versions may
also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly verified.
