Ubuntu Security Notice 3882-1 - Wenxiang Qian discovered that curl incorrectly handled certain NTLM authentication messages. A remote attacker could possibly use this issue to cause curl to crash, resulting in a denial of service. This issue only applied to Ubuntu 16.04 LTS, Ubuntu 18.04 LTS, and Ubuntu 18.10. A remote attacker could use this issue to cause curl to crash, resulting in a denial of service, or possibly execute arbitrary code. This issue only applied to Ubuntu 16.04 LTS, Ubuntu 18.04 LTS, and Ubuntu 18.10. Various other issues were also addressed.
