A vulnerability has been reported in vBulletin, which can be
exploited by malicious people to conduct spoofing attacks.
The vulnerability is caused due to an unspecified input validation
error and can be exploited to spoof a user's input data via brute
force attacks.
The vulnerability is reported in versions prior to 4.0.0 PL1, 3.8.4
PL2, and 3.7.6 PL2.
SOLUTION:
Update to version 4.0.0 PL1, 3.8.4 PL2, or 3.7.6 PL2.
