Hi, this is one for all German cellphone owners of the D1 and D2
net. Here's a way how you can do free phone calls from D1->D1 and
D2->D2 cellphones, without having to pay.
This is not just crap talking, we approved it with prepaid cards
and nothing was billed.
It mainly uses a bug in the "Telekom"'s testing 0800 number.
Step by step manual:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
1. First, you've to submit your number when calling, if necessary put it
on.
2. Put a call redirect into your cellphone. This is done by choosing
"redirect all speech calls" in most cell phones.
Enter here the number you want to call to.
NOTE: Calls within the net (d2->d2, d1->d1) are free... *hint*
3. Call 0800 800 2008 and you're connected to the number specified in 2.
Final words:
~~~~~~~~~~~~
This bug bases upon a Telekom testnumber, which is -free- for the caller (0800).
When you call it, it calls you back and because of the call redirect you're able
to have free phone calls.
Probably they'll notice it that the number is known now, but it worked for more
than 2 months (!) already, so have fun.
