DESCRIPTION:
Vulnerability Lab has discovered multiple vulnerabilities in
SpamTitan, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct
cross-site scripting attacks.
Input passed via the "testaddr" and "testpass" parameters to
auth-settings.php, the "hostname", "domainname", and "mailserver"
parameters to setup-relay.php, and the "ipaddress", "subnetmask",
"defaultroute", and "domain" parameters to setup-network.php is not
properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be
exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's
browser session in context of an affected site.
The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 5.07. Other versions may
also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Filter malicious characters and character sequences using a proxy.
