DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in CiscoWorks Common Services,
which can be exploited by malicious people to disclose sensitive
information.
Input passed via the "file" parameter to cwhp/auditLog.do in the
Homepage Auditing component is not properly verified before being
used to read files. This can be exploited to disclose the contents of
arbitrary files via directory traversal sequences.
The vulnerability is reported in versions 3.3 and prior.
SOLUTION:
Restrict access to trusted hosts only.
