Romania-based exosyphen studios has released the iPhone version of its hacking simulation game, Hacker Evolution. The iPhone and iPod touch title challenges players to become computer hackers, go against a network of computers, use viruses or bounce connections through hacked servers and, of course, avoid getting caught.

An excerpt from the game's description from the iTunes App Store can be found below.

Something that looks simple at first, will become a challenging adventure. Balance your resources carefully and plan your attacks to obtain the maximum number of score points and to retrieve deadly viruses you can use in your attacks.

The main features of Hacker Evolution for iPhone and iPod touch include:

• professional music and sound effects, to create the perfect hacker mood; • the dynamic difficulty algorithm will keep you on the edge; • the ability to submit your hi-score online and see where you rank among other players; • the ability to save the game anytime and continue where you left off.

The Mac OS X version of the game, Hacker Evolution: Untold, released earlier this year, puts players in the shoes of a hacking genius in an attempt to change the future of mankind. The official report announcing Hacker Evolution: Untold revealed that the concept behind this unique title was to create a game that challenged the players' intelligence, attention and focus, in order to deliver a captivating experience. According to exosyphen, gamers are faced with intricate puzzles, while having to examine code and bits of information, to achieve objectives.

Hacker Evolution: Untold costs $24.95 and requires any Mac running at least Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger). The demo includes three full levels. Custom game mods, skins and other content are not allowed in demo mode.
