The vulnerability is caused due to a signedness error in the "get_param_value()" function (utils.c) when parsing HTTP header values. This can be exploited to cause a stack-based buffer overflow via a specially crafted e.g. "Content-Length" HTTP header. Successful exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary code. The vulnerability is confirmed in version 0.12.4. Prior versions may also be affected. SOLUTION: Update to version 0.12.5. PROVIDED AND/OR DISCOVERED BY: Reported by the vendor.
