Input passed via arbitrary parameter names to admin/index.php is not properly sanitised in the "updateResource()" function in includes/class_db.php before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code. Successful exploitation requires "Home" permissions in the Admin Area and requires that "magic_quotes_gpc" is disabled. The vulnerability is confirmed in version 1.2.2. Other versions may also be affected. SOLUTION: Update to version 1.2.3. PROVIDED AND/OR DISCOVERED BY: Russ McRee, via Secunia.
