-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 _______________________________________________________________________ Mandriva Linux Security Advisory MDVSA-2010:143 http://www.mandriva.com/security/ _______________________________________________________________________ Package : gnupg2 Date : July 28, 2010 Affected: 2008.0, 2009.0, 2009.1, 2010.0, 2010.1, Corporate 4.0, Enterprise Server 5.0 _______________________________________________________________________ Problem Description: A vulnerability has been discovered and corrected in gnupg2: Importing a certificate with more than 98 Subject Alternate Names via GPGSM's import command or implicitly while verifying a signature causes GPGSM to reallocate an array with the names. The bug is that the reallocation code misses assigning the reallocated array to the old array variable and thus the old and freed array will be used. Usually this leads to a segv (CVE-2010-2547). Packages for 2008.0 and 2009.0 are provided as of the Extended Maintenance Program. Please visit this link to learn more: http://store.mandriva.com/product_info.php?cPath=149&products_id=490 The updated packages have been patched to correct this issue. _______________________________________________________________________ References: http://cve.mitre.org/cgi-bin/cvename.cgi?name=CVE-2010-2547 http://lists.gnupg.org/pipermail/gnupg-announce/2010q3/000302.html _______________________________________________________________________ Updated Packages: Mandriva Linux 2008.0: 4aae690ebf2d9c4bdb31038f3cae8798 2008.0/i586/gnupg2-2.0.5-3.1mdv2008.0.i586.rpm da5f69a6d2862a9384016817c44a795c 2008.0/SRPMS/gnupg2-2.0.5-3.1mdv2008.0.src.rpm Mandriva Linux 2008.0/X86_64: 86490afdb58c9e8ff4c5cb7ec7f963a3 2008.0/x86_64/gnupg2-2.0.5-3.1mdv2008.0.x86_64.rpm da5f69a6d2862a9384016817c44a795c 2008.0/SRPMS/gnupg2-2.0.5-3.1mdv2008.0.src.rpm Mandriva Linux 2009.0: 6bfbf59cf6c18c734080e252a92b30eb 2009.0/i586/gnupg2-2.0.9-3.1mdv2009.0.i586.rpm f23b3e9b4361532ed6d5420e3b8839f3 2009.0/SRPMS/gnupg2-2.0.9-3.1mdv2009.0.src.rpm Mandriva Linux 2009.0/X86_64: 5070c5ffad0ce7ce8c8e745be3fe94d7 2009.0/x86_64/gnupg2-2.0.9-3.1mdv2009.0.x86_64.rpm f23b3e9b4361532ed6d5420e3b8839f3 2009.0/SRPMS/gnupg2-2.0.9-3.1mdv2009.0.src.rpm Mandriva Linux 2009.1: db2d2719793987cd52d4defe13129b81 2009.1/i586/gnupg2-2.0.11-1.4mdv2009.1.i586.rpm dc80af7eaf7fef2bc7e2aa30e5420df5 2009.1/SRPMS/gnupg2-2.0.11-1.4mdv2009.1.src.rpm Mandriva Linux 2009.1/X86_64: d87b2739716f379e8b357289912a0951 2009.1/x86_64/gnupg2-2.0.11-1.4mdv2009.1.x86_64.rpm dc80af7eaf7fef2bc7e2aa30e5420df5 2009.1/SRPMS/gnupg2-2.0.11-1.4mdv2009.1.src.rpm Mandriva Linux 2010.0: a397613fc4100daaa96cfb81265be39a 2010.0/i586/gnupg2-2.0.13-1.5mdv2010.0.i586.rpm 0ed2dfb6e97a99d7f757e6c16fef99f1 2010.0/SRPMS/gnupg2-2.0.13-1.5mdv2010.0.src.rpm Mandriva Linux 2010.0/X86_64: 62f59cc586f4c0b0c67f10573a3ac32f 2010.0/x86_64/gnupg2-2.0.13-1.5mdv2010.0.x86_64.rpm 0ed2dfb6e97a99d7f757e6c16fef99f1 2010.0/SRPMS/gnupg2-2.0.13-1.5mdv2010.0.src.rpm Mandriva Linux 2010.1: d0a8141d593f401b7a00939a1ae71748 2010.1/i586/gnupg2-2.0.15-11.1mdv2010.1.i586.rpm 30986b763ef7913838dc7e39e64e53e6 2010.1/SRPMS/gnupg2-2.0.15-11.1mdv2010.1.src.rpm Mandriva Linux 2010.1/X86_64: cf5a634cca3e0792917f59100ba0958b 2010.1/x86_64/gnupg2-2.0.15-11.1mdv2010.1.x86_64.rpm 30986b763ef7913838dc7e39e64e53e6 2010.1/SRPMS/gnupg2-2.0.15-11.1mdv2010.1.src.rpm Corporate 4.0: fbc8416d37001db6ffbe6ba331c358c9 corporate/4.0/i586/gnupg2-1.9.16-4.5.20060mlcs4.i586.rpm 06d827f04f864a22f95ad808c586e50d corporate/4.0/SRPMS/gnupg2-1.9.16-4.5.20060mlcs4.src.rpm Corporate 4.0/X86_64: 0ab6033444e009c4e66420981703a649 corporate/4.0/x86_64/gnupg2-1.9.16-4.5.20060mlcs4.x86_64.rpm 06d827f04f864a22f95ad808c586e50d corporate/4.0/SRPMS/gnupg2-1.9.16-4.5.20060mlcs4.src.rpm Mandriva Enterprise Server 5: ac55ad4a0e58ee08ea96b0c469c01639 mes5/i586/gnupg2-2.0.9-3.1mdvmes5.1.i586.rpm 06fe8d25cfccf10125754f537cace361 mes5/SRPMS/gnupg2-2.0.9-3.1mdvmes5.1.src.rpm Mandriva Enterprise Server 5/X86_64: f79a320605df2a7287361c99b42dad3c mes5/x86_64/gnupg2-2.0.9-3.1mdvmes5.1.x86_64.rpm 06fe8d25cfccf10125754f537cace361 mes5/SRPMS/gnupg2-2.0.9-3.1mdvmes5.1.src.rpm _______________________________________________________________________ To upgrade automatically use MandrivaUpdate or urpmi.
