Input passed to free-tagging vocabularies is not properly sanitised before being displayed to the user. This can be exploited to insert arbitrary HTML and script code, which will be executed in a user's browser session in context of an affected site when the malicious data is being viewed. Successful exploitation requires permissions to create or edit nodes containing free-tagging vocabulary. The vulnerability is reported in versions prior to 6.x-2.4. SOLUTION: Update to version 6.x-2.4 or later. PROVIDED AND/OR DISCOVERED BY: The vendor credits Mike Stefanello and Barry Jaspan.
