This can be exploited to determine the existence and file size of e.g. arbitrary files outside the FTP root directory and potentially brute force their contents via directory traversal attacks. 1) An input validation error exists when processing "COMB" commands. This can be exploited to read and delete an arbitrary file placed outside a user's home directory via directory traversal attacks. The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 8.10 build 1125. Other versions may also be affected. SOLUTION: Restrict access to trusted users only.
