DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been discovered in ZipGenius, which can be
exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.

The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error within the
InfoTip Shell Extension for ZipGenius ("zgtips.dll" ) when processing
overly long file names within a zip archive. This can be exploited to
cause a stack-based buffer overflow when a user e.g. hovers the mouse
over a specially crafted zip file in the "Open" dialog of the
application.

Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code.

The vulnerability is confirmed in version 6.3.1.2552. Other versions
may also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Do not process zip files from untrusted sources.
