McAfee LinuxShield "nailsd" Authentication Security Issue

DESCRIPTION:
Nikolas Sotiriu has reported a security issue in McAfee LinuxShield,
which can be exploited by malicious, local users to gain escalated
privileges.

The security issue is caused due to the "nailsd" daemon allowing
unprivileged, local users to log in and access administrative
functionality. This can be exploited e.g. to change the configuration
and to execute arbitrary code with root privileges.

The security issue is reported in version 1.5.1. Other versions may
also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Update to version 1.5.1 and install hotfix HF550192.
