DESCRIPTION:
A security issue has been reported in DotNetNuke, which can be
exploited by malicious users to gain escalated privileges.

The security issue exists due to an error in the handling of user
roles, which can potentially be exploited by a logged in user on one
portal to gain the same permissions on another portal.

Successful exploitation requires that multiple portals are configured
within the same website instance and security roles with the same
details exist on both portals.

The security issue is reported in versions prior to 5.2.3.

SOLUTION:
Update to version 5.2.3 or later.
