DESCRIPTION:
VMware has issued an update for VMware ESX Server. This fixes a
vulnerability, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a
DoS (Denial of Service).

The vulnerability is caused due to an error in net-snmp when
processing GETBULK requests. This can be exploited to trigger a
division by zero and crash the "snmpd" daemon via a specially crafted
request.

VMware ESX Server version 3.5:
Apply patch ESX350-201002401-SG:

VMware ESX Server version 3.0.3:
A patch is not yet available. Restrict network access to trusted
users only.
