DESCRIPTION:
leinakesi has reported a vulnerability in XM Easy Personal FTP
Server, which can be exploited by malicious users to cause a DoS
(Denial of Service).

The vulnerability is caused due to an error when listing the content
of directories with a lot of subdirectories, which can be exploited
to crash the service by creating a lot of directories.

Successful exploitation may require access to create files or
directories.

The vulnerability is reported in version 5.8.0. Other versions may
also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Restrict access to trusted users only.
