PHPCityPortal "login.php" SQL Injection Vulnerability

DESCRIPTION:
CoBRa_21 has reported a vulnerability in PHPCityPortal, which can be
exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks.

Input passed to the "req_username" and "req_password" parameters in
login.php is not properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries.
This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary
SQL code.

Successful exploitation allows logging in without valid credentials,
but may require that "magic_quotes_gpc" is disabled.

SOLUTION:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.
