NetBSD OpenPAM Security Bypass Weakness

DESCRIPTION:
NetBSD has acknowledged a weakness in OpenPAM, which can be exploited
by malicious, local users to bypass certain security restrictions.

The weakness is caused due to an error within the pam_unix module,
which can be exploited to change the root password.

Successful exploitation requires knowledge of the root password and
that the system uses normal UNIX password authentication.

SOLUTION:
Fixed in the CVS repository. See vendor advisory for details.
