Input passed via EXIF tags is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to insert arbitrary HTML and script code, which will be executed in a user's browser session in context of an affected site when the malicious EXIF tag is viewed. Successful exploitation requires the ability to upload image files. The vulnerability is reported in 5.x-1.x prior to version 5.x-1.2 and 6.x-1.x-dev prior to April 13, 2009.
