The vulnerability is caused due to the application not properly handling input files. This can be exploited to cause a buffer overflow via a specially crafted input file (e.g. *.exe, *.dll, *.ocx, or *.vbx). Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code. The vulnerability is confirmed in version 6.50. Other versions may also be affected. SOLUTION: Do not open files from untrusted sources in the application.
