Input passed to the "vfolder" parameter in thumbnail.ghp is not properly verified before being used to open files. This can be exploited to open arbitrary files from local resources via specially formatted (e.g. "../.././/./../[FILE]") directory traversal attacks. The vulnerability is confirmed in version 4.8.
