The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error in the processing of playlist files. This can be exploited to cause a stack-based buffer overflow by tricking the user into loading an overly large playlist. Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code. The vulnerability is confirmed in rtlrack.exe version 1.15.0.0. Other versions may also be affected. SOLUTION: Do not load untrusted playlist (".pla") files using the application.
