Input passed to the "answer" parameter in admincp/verify.php and to the "extension" parameter in admincp/attachmentpermission.php is not properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary code. Successful exploitation requires administrator access with privileges to the affected sections. The vulnerabilities are reported in version 3.7.4. Other versions may also be affected. SOLUTION: Grant only trusted users administrative access to the affected sections. Reportedly, the vulnerabilities will be fixed in an upcoming version 3.7.5.
