DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in NetBSD, which can be exploited
by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).

The vulnerability is caused due to an error when processing MLD
(Multicast Listener Discovery) packets with invalid "Maximum Response
Delay" values.

Successful exploitation causes a system panic, but requires the
kernel to be compiled with "options INET6" turned on.

SOLUTION:
Fixed in the CVS repository. See vendor advisory for details.
