Input passed to the "gsLanguage" and "language_home" parameters in diary/showdiary.php, "admin_home", "gsLanguage", and "language_home" in diary/showdiarydetail.php, "gsLanguage" and "language_home" in diary/submit_diary.php, "admin_home" in news/news_summary.php, and "nLink", "gsLanguage", and "language_home" in news/inlinenews.php is not properly verified before being used to include files. This can be exploited to include arbitrary files from local resources via directory traversal attacks and URL-encoded NULL bytes. All scripts are located in the "modules/" directory. Successful exploitation requires that "register_globals" is enabled - not the setting recommended in the installer - and that "magic_quotes_gpc" is disabled. NOTE: Other scripts are reportedly also affected. The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 2.0.3. Other versions may also be affected. SOLUTION: Set "register_globals" in php.ini to Off.
