DESCRIPTION:
Knud Erik Højgaard has discovered a vulnerability in F-PROT
Antivirus, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS
(Denial of Service).

The vulnerability is caused due to an infinite loop when scanning
certain files, which can be exploited to cause high CPU load.

The vulnerability is confirmed in version 6.2.1.4252 and engine
version 4.4.4.56 on a Linux system, and version 6.0.9.1 and engine
version 4.4.4 on a Windows system. Other versions may also be
affected.

SOLUTION:
There is no effective workaround available.
