DESCRIPTION:
S.W.A.T. has reported a vulnerability in Maian Guestbook, which can
be exploited by malicious people to bypass certain security
restrictions.

The vulnerability is caused due to improper access restriction in the
admin/index.php script. This can be exploited to bypass the
authentication mechanism and gain access to the administration
section by setting the "gbook_cookie" cookie.

The vulnerability is reported in version 3.2 downloaded before
2008-07-14. Prior versions may also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Update to version 3.2 downloaded on or after 2008-07-14.
