The problem is that the "ooh323" channel driver extracts memory addresses from incoming TCP packets and uses them in memory operations. This can be exploited to crash an affected application by sending a TCP packet containing invalid memory references. The vulnerability is reported in 1.2.x versions prior to 1.2.9, and 1.4.x versions prior to 1.4.7. SOLUTION: Asterisk Addons 1.2.x: Update to version 1.2.9.
