DESCRIPTION:
Two vulnerabilities have been discovered in the XM-Memberstats module
for Xoops, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL
injection attacks.

Input passed to the "letter" and "sortby" parameters in
xmmemberstats/index.php is not properly sanitised before being used
in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by
injecting arbitrary SQL code.

The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 2.0e. Other versions may
also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.

PROVIDED AND/OR DISCOVERED BY:
Affected "sortby" parameter reported as cross-site scripting
vulnerability in RMSOFT Gallery Script by t0fx.
Affected "letter" parameter reported by an anonymous person.
