The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error when processing the skin name of other users in a multiplayer game. This can be exploited to cause a stack-based buffer overflow on other connected clients' systems by sending a specially crafted packet to the server. Successful exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary code. The vulnerability is reported in version 0.5X10. Other versions may also be affected.
