The vulnerability is caused due to an input validation error in IceGUI.DLL when processing ACE archives. This can be exploited to cause a stack-based buffer overflow via a specially crafted ACE archive with an overly large filename size in the header. Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code. The vulnerability is confirmed in version 4.20b. Other versions may also be affected. SOLUTION: Do not extract or open untrusted .ACE archives.
