DESCRIPTION:
r0ut3r has discovered a vulnerability in VicFTPS, which can be
exploited by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable system.

The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error when processing
data sent to the server. This can be exploited to cause a stack-based
buffer overflow via a specially crafted, overly long string (greater
than 320 bytes).

Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code.

The vulnerability is confirmed in version 3.9. Other versions may
also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Upgrade to version 5.0.
