DESCRIPTION:
V[i]RuS has discovered a vulnerability in Invision Power Board, which
can be exploited by malicious people to conduct script insertion
attacks.

The vulnerability is caused due to Invision Power Board allowing a
user to upload HTML and TXT attachments containing JavaScript. This
can be exploited to execute arbitrary script code in a user's browser
session in context of an affected web site when a HTML or TXT
attachment is viewed.

Successful exploitation requires that the user is tricked into
clicking on a HTML or TXT attachment when using  the Internet
Explorer browser.

The vulnerability has been confirmed in version 2.0.4 and also
reported in version 1.0.3. Other versions may also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Disable upload of HTML and TXT attachments.
