The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error in the nwclient utility when processing command line arguments. This can be exploited to cause a buffer overflow by passing an overly long argument. Successful exploitation grants "lp" group privileges. The vulnerability has been reported in version 5.0.7. SOLUTION: Remove the setgid bit from the vulnerable program.
