The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error in the handling of POST data in "server.cpp". This can be exploited to cause a heap-based buffer overflow by supplying more POST data than the value of the "Content-Length" HTTP header. Successful exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary code. The vulnerability has been confirmed in version 0.47. Prior versions may also be affected. SOLUTION: Update to version 0.48. http://djeyl.net/w.php PROVIDED AND/OR DISCOVERED BY: Kevin Masterson ---------------------------------------------------------------------- About: This Advisory was delivered by Secunia as a free service to help everybody keeping their systems up to date against the latest vulnerabilities.
