Software Description: - bind9: Internet Domain Name Server Details: USN-5126-1 fixed a vulnerability in Bind. This update provides the corresponding update for Ubuntu 14.04 ESM and Ubuntu 16.04 ESM. Original advisory details: Kishore Kumar Kothapalli discovered that Bind incorrectly handled the lame cache when processing responses. A remote attacker could possibly use this issue to cause Bind to consume resources, resulting in a denial of service.
