It combines database, data processing, and application platform capabilities in-memory. The platform provides libraries for predictive, planning, text processing, spatial, and business analytics. 5. Vulnerability Details ======================== A remote authenticated user can use the SAP Hana Web-based Development Workbench to inject arbitrary SQL statements. The vulnerable function (_newUser) builds SQL statements using user inputs without prior sanitization, allowing the attacker to modify persisted data. 6. Report Timeline ================== 03/13/2015: Onapsis provides vulnerability information to SAP AG. 03/14/2015: SAP AG confirms reception of vulnerability report. 04/14/2015: SAP AG reports vulnerability is “In Process”. 05/12/2015: SAP AG releases Security Note 2153765 fixing the issue but not informing Onapsis the fix was included in that Note. 08/17/2015: SAP AG informs reported vulnerability ONAPSIS-00170 was considered duplicate of ONAPSIS-00169, thus included in the same Security Note fixing that vulnerability. 09/29/2015: Onapsis publishes security advisory.
