Summary: Certain debug configuration changes performed by an authorized user for LDAP environments may cause the LDAP bind password to be displayed in clear text on the console output. Details: For LDAP environments, occasionally higher level of LDAP debug logging may need to be enabled to assist in troubleshooting authorization issues involving LDAP groups. Enabling higher level of debug logging in LDAP configurations causes the LDAP bind password to be displayed in clear text on the console. Resolution: The following EMC products contain resolution to this issue: • EMC Unisphere for VMAX version 1.6.1.6 EMC strongly recommends all customers upgrade at the earliest opportunity.
