The vulnerability is caused due to an error in the "http_request_split_value()" function (src/request.c) when processing certain HTTP headers. This can be exploited to cause an endless loop denying further request processing via a specially crafted "Connection" header. The vulnerability is reported in version 1.4.31 only.
