The vulnerability is caused due to an integer overflow error in PPM image handler (operations/external/ppm-load.c) and can be exploited to cause a heap-based buffer overflow via specially crafted image dimensions. Successful exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary code. The vulnerability is reported in version 0.2.0. Other versions may also be affected. SOLUTION: Fixed in the source code repository.
