This fixes a vulnerability, which can be exploited by malicious people to potentially compromise a user's system. The vulnerability is caused due to an integer underflow error in icclib (icc.c) when handling ICC profiles and can be exploited to cause a heap-based buffer overflow by a specially crafted ICC profile for images embedded in e.g. a postscript or PDF file. Successful exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary code, but requires tricking a user into opening a malicious file. SOLUTION: Apply updated packages via the zypper package manager.
