The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error in the "expand_acc_string_list()" function (server/access.c) when handling certain access requests and can be exploited to cause a stack-based buffer overflow. Successful exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary code, but requires the attacker to have a valid encryption key. The vulnerability is reported in versions prior to 2.0.3. SOLUTION: Update to version 2.0.3. PROVIDED AND/OR DISCOVERED BY: The vendor credits Fernando Arnaboldi, IOActive.
