This can be exploited to insert arbitrary HTML and script code, which will be executed in a user's browser session in context of an affected site when the malicious data is viewed. 2) Input passed via the "host" parameter to command/submit is not properly sanitised before being displayed to the user. This can be exploited to insert arbitrary HTML and script code, which will be executed in a user's browser session in context of an affected site when the malicious data is viewed. 3) The application allows users to perform certain actions via HTTP requests without performing any validity checks to verify the requests. This can be exploited to e.g. execute arbitrary commands if a logged-in administrative user visits a malicious web site. 4) Input passed via the "items_per_page" parameter to status/hostgroup_grid and status/service/all is not properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code. The vulnerabilities are reported in version 5.4.2. Other versions may also be affected. SOLUTION: Update to version 5.7.3 and apply update.
